Our Story
A place that refuses
to pick a single identity
The Other Office began with a simple observation: the best moments of the day don't fit neatly into categories. That conversation over morning coffee often stretches into evening drinks. The idea that a space should serve you the same way throughout the day — not just at breakfast or just at night.
Located on 2nd Street in downtown Sacramento, we built a venue that honors both rhythms. By day, it's a destination for carefully pulled espressos and quiet corners. By night, the same space transforms — lower lights, warmer music, a cocktail program that takes its time.
We believe in showing up fully for whichever hour you choose to spend with us. No pretending it's something it isn't. Just honest coffee, honest spirits, and a room that feels like it was made for you.
